Group Tours

We are happy to host groups at the museum! Please contact us ahead of time so we can accommodate your visit by emailing execdirector@montezumamuseum.org or calling (970) 516-1100.

Directions to Oversize Parking: Turn south onto Elm Street from Main Ave/Hwy 160.  Continue one block and turn left onto E. 1st St.  Free parking is available to the right or along the street.  The museum is ½ block walk from 1st St.

After your visit, Market Street is a nice wide intersection with room to turn east towards Mesa Verde National Park or west toward Moab, UT.

School Groups

The Montezuma Heritage Museum is available to host field trip experiences of up to four hours for students in grades 4 through 12. Our team of educators strives to make our historical tours fun, informative, and age-appropriate for up to 40 students at a time. We can tailor our tours to meet your curriculum goals as well as CDE standards. The following is a list of the areas covered by our current exhibits:
