Volunteer at the Museum

Our volunteers help the Montezuma Heritage Museum preserve local history, connect with our community, and share the stories of the people and places that shaped our region. Whether you enjoy working behind the scenes or engaging with visitors, your time and talents can make a difference. We welcome people who want to help keep Montezuma County’s history alive for future generations.

There are many ways to get involved, including:

• • Care for Collections — Help preserve, organize, and document historic photographs, documents, and other materials.
  • Support Education and Outreach — Help with educational activities, public programs, and community events.
  • Welcome Visitors — Help visitors connect with the museum and discover local history.
  • Share Your Skills — Bring your interests, knowledge, and ideas to support the museum’s work.
